Why Working Out Should Be A Game You Play Long Term

ย

The news/the internet has always got a new scientific report on the benefits of working out.

ย

Very much like the reports on whatโ€™s healthy and whatโ€™s not.. you know one minute Milk is good for you the next itโ€™s not.

ย

This can leave you very confused indeed in what is actually the score and what is just nonsense.

ย

If we religiously followed these reports, we would be left with huge anxiety, overweight and confused into what is the truth here.

ย

So my advice to you is to stop looking at all of these reports from scientists and get up from your sofa and get active.

ย

Every day, you can do something that requires physical activity.

ย

To put delays on your workouts is very short sighted, with long term effects such us aches, pains and chronic diseases.

ย

You can work out in the Gym, outside or at home!

ย

Two out of three of those options require zero money, because your health investment comes first, even if you go to the gym the first down payment is time.

ย

The excuse of not having any time to look after your own body is a lame one in this day and age.

ย

The time spent on your phone on social media or playing app games, is again, short term thinking.. when there are countless apps available that you can use to work out right where you are.

ย

Making time and getting into a routine which will make great habits is long term thinking, because youโ€™re thinking of your body not just in its current state, but what it will be like in a year from now, 5 years from now, 10 years from now, 50 years from now.

ย

If your mind is so fixated on today, itโ€™s easy just to brush it off and say โ€˜tomorrowโ€™, of course as we all know well, tomorrow never comes.

ย

If we change our mindset and switch to thinking of this as a lifetime investment where we will pour in our time and effort to make a conscious decision to get up and walk that bit further, run that bit quicker, lift that bit more weight.

ย

Rather than delay, delay, delay which is really nothing, nothing oh nothing again, then youโ€™ll find out that whatever your body looks like now, in the long term it will be drastically different.

ย

Thatโ€™s just on the outside; the insides will be much more costly.

ย

Thatโ€™s your money, time & sanity put in the hands of somebody else because you decided to only think of right now.

ย

We can talk about these benefits all day below..

Aerobic power, Reduction of Blood Pressure, Lowers Type 2 Diabetes, Maintains Immune function, Reduces Body fat, Helps us Lose Weight,

Bone strength, Muscle Mass, Energy Booster, Reduces the risk of Arthritis, Better sleep at night etc.

ย

As you can see, it looks really good to read, but itโ€™s useless to you if you donโ€™t act, because you can do something everyday.

ย

So why wait?

Many people are afraid to work out for some reason or another.

ย

I understand there may be a ย lack of confidence.. but itโ€™s not always about weights and running, you can also walk, those of you who can swim do it.. anything but Netflix and pills!

ย

I hope this will serve you well and have you getting up from the sofa and getting active in whatever capacity that maybe.

ย

This body of ours is a vehicle or a temple you must maintain it so itโ€™s running optimally or elseโ€ฆ

ย

ย

THATโ€™S IT!

ย

ย I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know thoughโ€ฆ
