Why Do You Exercise?
There are many why’s that I could spend my whole life speaking about it, it’s that deep to me (Laughs)
What it comes down to, other than the health reasons, is I love/ enjoy it.
I’ve been working out for so long, I’ve grown to love the process more, than the result too, which is how I see things now, in many other areas too.
However, even on day 1 for me, when I never had a clue, I tried it and enjoyed it, found it fun, and then I did it over and over again, then got a clue.
Then I started looking into it more, then the obs answer I refuse to give to you, about the health advantages and how I look and could look, but it starts from the desire to better myself in that area, but the rabbit whole was a lot deeper than I ever thought and it down poured into other areas of my life.
So, I don’t want to get the message lost in what I’m saying here, I really love and enjoy it, since day one to present day… If not more than I first started with no clue as a teen.
What Do You Like About Working Out?
The pain, I’m not even capping, it’s nice pain!
It means we really worked that day, but also much deeper than that, the process. Like I said before, I fell in love with the process, I get to use my body as a machine and push myself past my limits every time.
Or I can use machines and do the same thing, I love that unlike other things in life what you put in to working out is what you get back, and I love that. It’s also good mentally, and I’m a big fan of anything to do with the mind, and it helps keep it active and awake.
I also like the fact that it’s something you always have to do, I think life would be quite boring without any form of exercise.
What Inspires You To Keep Going?
Me wanting to see my higher self!
This is beyond working out this in all areas of my life, but this one area that is a part of it.
How I feel and how I look, is one thing, what I can do is another. I’m very much into sports, but I love to play football and any form of running the most so, to see the hard work pay off, for those things, pushes me more to keep on doing it.
However, the most important thing is my overall life being able to be old if God will allow it, and having quality of life, via me being able to move around and walk and all of that so…
I’m working for my higher self, and the oldest version of me that I can think of, and that inspires me…
In many ways I’m really excited to see that me, just not too soon though (Laughs)
What Can You Say To Others Who Are Not Sure If They Should Work Out Or Not?
Well, I don’t think it’s a matter of that, they know they must have to.
It’s finding out your why, and then going from there, for everyone it’s not the same.
The why’s have to be strong, as there will be times when you think, what’s the point? Or you don’t want to, or you could be doing something else, but the why’s reel you back in.
I understand this from the Di1’s that I work with, for me the working out is a part of me, all the healthy food and drink, it’s a part of me…
I don’t ever feel like not doing it. So, it’s not for me to say anything other than finding your why’s, then working from there.
I’m not the health police, just The Healthy One.
