Today, I wanted to share the upside/health benefits of turning vegan.
If you’re looking to lose weight, becoming a vegan helps, so below I’m going to list some and if this sounds like something you want to do, then, go for it!
Better Heart Health
The more plant based food you eat, the less chance you have of clogging up your heart, it’s that simple!
Animal meats if you have a lot of it, it will increase your chances of heart disease. This is why you here often health experts telling you to, lower or stop eating red meat out right, or one of them lol.
Vegans don’t just stop at meat though, cheese, butter too, as it has saturated fats, now not all butters can be measured the same, but this is not what this is about, I’ve spoken about this many times, which you can find I’m sure on here.
High fiber foods are plant based foods, this is better for your heart health, vegetables and grains are the best sources.
Lowers Your Chances Of Getting Cancer
It ties into what I was saying above, you’re more likely to get cancer from eating meat, then you are from plant based food.
When I say meats I’m talking about the red meats, so I really don’t have much to add other than that, other than bowl cancer can be caused via eating red meats and drinking wine & such poisons.
Those that are vegan as a whole tend to be lower in body weight.
Animal meats are higher in fat and calories, so when you replace them with plant based foods, you will become slimmer.
Of course, I want to add, if you’re still eating candy, chocolate and such trash then you’re throwing that advantage away.
Also, I don’t want to make out like all vegans are super healthy, as there are plenty of overweight vegans too, who are in poor health.
Everybody has got to be on their A game, also if you did not know, there is vegan junk food.
