Weight Loss Mistakes That Prevent You From Losing

We don’t have to make losing weight any more challenging, by not knowing what we are doing.

 

We are not rolling the dice here, if you’re doing something you think is healthy, yet you’re not getting the results something is up.

 

What this is for is to let you know what that is, and not just jump to a negative view point of, oh I must suck!

 

 Which leads to you throwing in the towel, some things you are doing, or have been told to do are myths, outdated or misguided advice.

 

  This will stop you from seeing the changes that you desire, so I’m going to list some mistakes that are common & turn them into lessons, so that you can lose weight.

 

 

You Don’t Eat Whole Foods

Eating highly processed foods is a barrier to your success, there is a reason why obesity is going up.

 

It’s not just missing gym class, or you ate too much, that’s easy to say right?

 

What is it that you are eating? Like a wise man once said, nobody got fat off eating a salad.

 

When you’re eating whole foods with a single ingredient, you will lose more weight. You’re helping your body, and this is another miss-step you don’t seem to understand a lot of you this…

 

Your brain is a part of your body too, most of you are in a deep rut because you’re feeding your body crap falling into depression because of the junk you’re eating, yes, things in life happen…

 

Soothing yourself with junk is making things worse, and for some of you is the main cause of your depression whether you see it or not, and that’s not just off a feeling of mine.

 

I work with clients as a therapist now too, and I see it & it’s so sad.

 

Once you take what I’m saying to heart you will make it important to eat whole foods, and your body, which includes your mind will change!

 

I can’t afford this, or I can’t afford that, never made anyone afford anything!

 

 

Getting your priorities in order and stunting for your damn self over stunting for the gram will get you in a better place to get these whole foods.

 

You have an I phone & designer clothes that cost a bomb, but you cannot afford healthy food?

 

Of course some are not able to yet, and are down real bad at the moment, but they are also not here reading this on the most part!, for most of you reading this who are still eating junk, you don’t see the value, that’s the real issue, as nobody will give you a like for it..

 

This is not for others this is for you, and you better find a way to get into whole foods ASAP, as your body agrees with me and will mess you up later on, come on!

 

Not Reading Food Labels

It’s like eating in the dark with no light, you must always look at the back of the label.

 

If you don’t, you will be eating unwanted and unhealthy ingredients, even if it’s really healthy for you still look, as what if they’ve added something new to it, which is very common to add or take away.

 

 

The food industry is banking on you just looking at the front, so they give you a false belief with a claim that is not true.

 

Like for example in bold letters FAT FREE…. Now that part is true, but what they are not saying on the front is FAT FREE BUT WITH EXTRA SUGAR THAN NORMAL!

 

As a lot of you would drop that, and go for something that is fat free and not packed to the high heavens with added sugar/ if any at all.

 

You need to know become literate at reading food labels, it will save you time, money & your life

 

You’re Still Drinking

It’s not just wine and beer, which is really dumb to do when looking to lose weight & keep it off, too.

 

I want to talk about the soft drinks, the sweetened beverages, you need to stop drinking so much sugary drinks.

 

Weight loss goals or not it’s not healthy for you, now I understand if you tell me well I only drink fruit juice.

 

Well, as the Di1’s already know, this is not good for you either, this 100 percent fruit juice is legit yes.

 

What they’re not telling you is that they’re using too much fruit in one, and it’s too damn sweet.

 

This is why if you want your own juice, make it yourself, for example if I told you in one sitting would you sit and eat 12 oranges? I’m sure you said no!….

 

Well, why would you drink that? This is what you’re doing when you drink fruit juice, apple juice contains 35.76 grams of sugar!

 

That’s more than breakfast cereals that are high in sugar, you know!

 

Some of you have been drinking it for so long you don’t even notice how sweet it really is, that’s crazyyyy.

 

Fizzy drinks like cola, if you’re still drinking that and talking about weight loss & more to point keeping that off… Or even deeper being healthy… Please miss me with that.

 

You’re not about this life, ever wondered why those that lose weight get it back again in a short amount of time?

 

When I say short, I’m talking 90 days to 24 months… One of the causes is the drink, you learnt nothing and what is what, then your addiction comes back to bite you in the butt again.

 

Do you know the history of Coca-Cola and that it lit had that in it before, I mean the clue is in the name that is not good for you.

 

Yet they’re still making money of some of y’all, as you’re still drinking it and expecting to lose weight and be in health LMAO!

 

A lot of you that have degrees in this and a degree in that, yet you’re not talking about your degree in being a JACKASS as that is what you’re if you’re still drinking this crap, NO CAP!

 

You need to be drinking water! & lots of it too, you know your body is made up of it, and it needs it.

 

Tear up the Jack degree, and give your body a chance… You will feel so much better and lose weight.

 

You Don’t Track What You Eat

You need to track in some way shape or form, if you cannot tell me what you had to eat on a Tuesday night for breakfast, lunch and dinner last week…

 

You’re rolling dice with your weight loss. What kind of goal is that, where you don’t have anything to track it with?

 

You need to stay on track of what you eat and drink, so you can make adjustments if you start to gain weight or even if you get a bad reaction to a certain food, but you are unsure which one it is.

 

This is smart work, it’s not just about hard work and dedication, it’s smart work too. Get yourself a diary or use your phone, and track everything you are eating.

 

I track everything that I eat, and I’m The Healthy One… So there is no reason not to do this for yourself. My reason for doing this is, I can track what I’m eating, I can see progress…

 

I can put my hand on my heart and say aloud, I am the healthiest in the world, and everything I’ve eaten since 2013 I think it is, is down.

 

No skips, no flops, I really live it… So trust me when I tell you tracking for your weight loss will help you, and your mindset, as you will have more belief in yourself.

 

For example, let me pretend I’m you… Oh on Friday I ate brown rice, so I’m not tripping that I ate white on the weekend, I will just make the adjustment on Monday and not make that mistake again.

You see how it works now ? TRACK, TRACK TRACK.

 

Unrealistic On Time

I’m all for going for your goals, but you have to respect time, stop making it your foe.

 

Setting weight loss goals is to keep you on track, keep you motivated, see the stairs you are going up on.

 

I see and get asked all the time, how do I do this quick so that I can do X,Y & Z… If you’re not in this for the long hall, then this is not for you.

 

You have to put in work, unlike most things in life… What you put into your workouts and eating you get back the full amount.

 

If you’re a slave to food or drink… WE CAN TELL, If you are about health we can tell that too.

 

It’s not just in how one looks, it’s where your mind is at too. There are many slim ones, that are not in any sort of health, as they are fueled on crap.

 

Also, you need to learn patience, you just think because you’ve been working hard for a week you deserve the body of your dreams?

 

You’ve been nothing but a liability to your own body for years, but yet 6 months of going to the gym and losing weight is ok, but I should have lost all the weight.. LIKE WHATTT!

 

Take Accountability for your own choices and actions, and when you put the same amount of time you spent abusing your body as you do healing it, then you can say something, patience is not just not saying nothing.

 

It’s shutting up inside too, in your inner thoughts, and demanding this and that, if you know it’s coming no sweat, it’s coming.

 

If you do the work in this, and leave no stones unturned, you will get it done, I’ve seen no one do that and not be at their weight that they wanted, this is a lifestyle, slim or not.

 

Your time is for as long as you’re still breathing, but they won’t tell you that, though.

 

I will, I’m here to give, not take away your time telling you B.S, the whole point of this is for more life… Take this to heart & level up, my Di1’s already know, and they are balling!

Eating Too Much Or Too Few Calories

In order to lose weight you need a calorie deficit, you need to burn more than you consume in other words.

 

I’m not here for numbers and this and that, the truth is, it does more harm than good.

 

The only thing I want you to focus on when it comes to this part, is working out more and eating whole foods.

 

This will help you, there is less foods to watch out for when you are eating healthy, that much is obs.

 

Fish and nuts are high in calories, does that mean you should not eat it, no… You just don’t go HAM and start eating lots of during your day, and you will be good to go.

 

Also, eating too few calories can mess you up too, via you then getting so hungry and eating anything, which tends to be junk.

 

This is another place where you make the mistake of not eating foods’ field with protein and fibre.

 

Fibre, for example, fills you up fuller for longer, you must be eating both to keep yourself on track.

 

Focusing On The Scale & Not Knowing This Vital Point

 Patience & the scale seem to be a bad combo for us humans!

 

You feel like you’re not losing fast enough, so you keep going on it and hoping

Like I said to you before, you’ve been on this healthy lifestyle for a shorter amount of time then you did abusing your body.

 

You have to be patience and not just keep going on the scale, and getting sad that your number is the same.

 

If you feel like you cannot do that, or the urge right now, you’re better off throwing it out.

 

A way you can tell without focusing on a number is to take photos of yourself, every month and you will see the change for yourself.

 

In the mean time, you are working and not fixated on a number, leave that number in your goals…

 

You’re only focus should be the work, also when your cloths become looser that is a sign.

 

Losing fat mass but holding on to water weight is a thing too, so your cloths will feel looser but you will be the same number on the scale, so if you do keep the scales, keep that in mind.  

 

Keep working, stay patient and keep your head up… I know you’ve got this!
