There is so much information on health that really contradicts it’s self, an out-and-out lie, nothing but a myth or just a wish where what they want is healthy but in reality is trash.
As they cannot let it go they pretend like it’s good for you when it’s anything but.
You may have read it on a social media post, in a magazine or on a site..
The ways & means of finding information on nutrition and health are endless it really does not stop!
This misinformation is really leaving us as a whole confused, tired & very skeptical, this is why nutrition is dead food in my eyes!
It’s old hat and one of the reasons why I started giving out another choice Di Nutrition.
They ask me at times what is the difference between the two, well one is all over the place..
The other is eternal in its words and if things are to change, it does not cover up it lets you know right away as leading you down the garden path is a disgusting thing to do to you.
So I’m just going to share with you some misleading info that is not true and clear things up for you, the future of health is going to change and all these old theories out the window…
The time to be learning about what you put in your mouth, and how to be more healthy daily is now!
I don’t know what happens to others where he or she can be pulled and swayed for some silver to out-and-out lie to your face, but this to me is an honour to give you the truth, so you can all live a much healthier life.
So here they are, and long may these myths/lies leave your mind for good.
Calories Is All That Matters!
Calories in & calories out is not all that matters, this is lazy & very dangerous, this is why there is a high case of us with eating disorders.
Thinking if I just get these numbers right I’ll have my dream body, this is not a maths game I’m not sorry to break it to ya!
Of course burning more energy than what you take in is the shorthand answer when it comes to losing weight.
If we only went by that then why is it that some of us do all of this and still don’t get to our numbers ?
Well we are not the same, they’re hormonal imbalances, health conditions and the use of certain medications plus genetics that make it harder for some people to lose weight..
Even when they are eating and working with these numbers.
If we just follow this calories in and calories out method what tends to happen is that you’re only eating via the numbers and not via the nutrients that you need.
Which means you’re not even healthy…
& will suffer with something later on, not everything has to be a heart attack to be a health issue you know.
You’ve been told that only eating egg whites and higher calorie foods is the only way…
That you must ignore whole eggs, avocados and that, which in your overall health score that you care so much about, will never be top marks with this method.
High Fat Foods Are Unhealthy
This is another one that bugs me, but it’s not really your fault, you hear the word fat, and it’s like AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
What you must know now is that fat is not bad, you know we all have a percentage of fat on our stomachs right ?
That’s everybody including those of us that are packed out with 6 or 8 cans of abs (Will ab bump later!)
My point is you should not fear all high fat foods, and start some crappy low fat diet in hope of cutting your fat intake LMAO!
Dietary fat is essential for optimal healthy you know, plus fat diets have been linked to higher risk of you getting health issues.
One of which is metabolic syndrome the other being a heart disease.
You need to be eating healthy high in fat foods THIS IS NOT A DRILL!
I’m talking Avocados, cheese, nuts, seeds, virgin oil, Whole eggs, fatty fish, healthy yoghurts etc.
So the word fat to us now does not make us afraid because we know there is a difference between the two.
Supplements Are A Waste Of Money/ Supplements Are Healthy
Again it all depends on who you are and what you have going for you and what you do not.
I don’t take any supplements, as I don’t have to…
My case is not an average case though as I’ve worked on a formula for my body that I eat so well
I will not need any supplements now or can I be so bold to say EVER!
& I’ve not even reached my final form!!!
This is not the case for everyone though & I get it, I would say that if you’re not willing to do what it takes to be healthy daily then you’ll find it helpful…
It’s just I’m not ever going to be like yeah do it, because I know that if you’re young reading this and do not have any conditions or anything like that,
it can be done where you to do not need any supplements.
I’ll put that on everything & strike me down God If I’m wrong.
Those of us that have conditions like type 1 diabetes and low iron and that, yes supplements will help you…
To be on it for life though? It is there to aid you until you boss up to your next level of health in all fairness.
What I’m seeing though is it being used as a crutch & your never off it, and you end up like a legalized addict thinking you cannot live without your next fix.
Food is medicine & when you’re truly healthy that is the only medicine you will need, you will not need all this fish oil in a capsule b.s.
Supplements have their place, but it will never be a better choice than food..
No matter what your out of shape doctor said.
All Smoothies & Juices Are Healthy
I’m all for one to seeing others drinking these over beer and fizzy drinks.
The thing is you are being tricked in two ways though, and they’re not telling you because they want you to depend on them let me explain.
First off not every smoothie and juice is healthy, you’ll find most of them have added way too many fruits in them which is why it’s so damn sweet.
The other thing I noticed, & more so in smoothies is that when you buy them they seem to have a lot of added sugar in them, which i loaded with extra calories you don’t want.
This leads to weight gain, tooth decay and high chance of getting diabetes type 2!
The second is the adverts and how they sell them, like butter wouldn’t melt, knowing full well what they are selling is not healthy…
It’s the same with vegetable oil (NO VEGGIES IN IT) you’ll be better off making it yourself without the added sugar and so many fruits for your juice, if this is what you really want.
Also, this last bit you should know which I know hardly no one ever says is this, you do know that once you blend those fruits up in the mixer that you are losing so many nutrients right ?
Because if you don’t damnnnnnnnnnnnnnn!
What is you doinggggggggggggg?!
If you eat whole fruits you get the full nutrients, there seems to be this oh I just want to rush so blend it and drink it.
I’m just saying best results come when you’re eating your fruits more than you drinking it.
Tracking Everything Is The Way To Lose Weight
Like I said eating disorders are on the up because you’ve been told to track calories and if this is not that number than your fat!
I track what I eat & always tell my Di1’s to write down what they eat, I’m not talking about calories because I know how harmful that can be to them.
It’s so you can be on top of your health, so if you slip it’s all there you know what you’ve been eating no guess work, and you can make improvements
with what you eat if you wish to.
Sometimes we make things a lot harder than what they really are, so long as you are eating fresh food that is real food… you’ll be A-OK!
If there is something you’re aiming for then you’ll have to track some things, like I said what you eat… but this whole numbers thing is not it at all.
This is not a maths’s game like I said before, It’s all P.E! moving the body which includes your mouth when you’re chewing and swallowing.
The only maths game that is being played here is your wallet being sucked dry, and you end up worse than you started your path to health.
Well no more right?!
There’s no need to obsess over your calorie intake and track every morsel of food that passes your lips to lose weight.
Although food tracking can be a useful tool when trying to lose excess body fat, it’s not right for everyone.
What’s more, being overly preoccupied with food by tracking calories has been associated with an increased risk of disordered eating tendencies
Carbs Make You Gain Weight
This goes hand in hand with when they point the finger at the word fat!
Carb has been made into something it’s not because all carbs cause obesity, diabetes and other bad things that we do not want oh you cannot eat it!
Now I want everyone just to calm down and breath right now!
When we eat healthy carbs that are high in fibre (Which keeps us fuller for longer), vitamins, minerals one’s like…
Grains, legumes & root vegetables this will only increase your health and not decline it.
Just take a look at how the world goes on and on about the Mediterranean diet, you do know that this is a mix of carb foods that in other things they say not to eat right ?
Healthy carbs foods are known to prevent many cancers and heart disease, if you’re eating carbs such as cake, cookies, white bread etc… What do you think I’m going to say?
The reason they are not telling you is that they want you to be eating their cookies and white bread, whilst knowing it’s trash.
Know your carbs & which is healthy and which are not, then you cannot be sold b.s by anyone!
