The Healthy Fats You Should Be Eating

Say whatttt?

 Yeah, you heard me, there are healthy fat foods that we should all be eating.

   

 The real issue with the word fat is, where are you getting it from ?

 

Most of you first think of foods that are made in labs & are heavily processed, and most likely unaware that these foods below are healthy fat foods, and it’s ok to eat these foods.

 

Just like sugar in all these so-called treats (Yuk) it’s not the fact that it has sugar in them, it’s just not food you are eating for one, for two someone just added tablespoons of sugar to your snack or drink and goes HAM…

  

That is not good for anyone & you should really look closer to home on that, than anything below.

 

These foods boost, those are not food and kill & I want you here for as

long as you can be, you feel me ?

Avocados

Oh yeahhhhhhhhhhhh!

 

Avocados are in a league of their own… Well the fruit world lol.

 

What I mean is Most fruits contain a lot of carbs in them, but the avocado is loaded with fats.

 

This is what I was saying to you, this is the good fat that we all need.

 

Avocados are healthy for you, and they are 80% fat, they have more fat than a lot of animal foods too.

 

It would not be a fruit if it did not have antioxidant compounds in them, they also have so much fibre in them, good for your heart and your weight.

 

Eggs

Not just the whites, I know you’ve heard that the yolk is bad for you and that’s cap!

 

Whole eggs is the way to go, the yolk has been said to have high cholesterol and fat in it right?

 

Wrong, the cholesterol in eggs does not affect the cholesterol in the blood, eggs are a nutrient dense food source.

 

They contain minerals and vitamins, they are also good for weight loss, high in protein and keep you feeling fuller for much longer.

The white & the yolk are healthy to eat.

 

Fatty Fish

Fatty fish is so good for you, it’s the most nutritious animal protein you can get!

 

The type of fish I’m talking about is salmon, trout, mackerel, sardines etc.

 

All of these fish are great for your heart and have omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and minerals & proteins in them.

 

If you cannot eat fish, then take fish oil instead to get your omega-3 in.

 

Cheese

Get you some calcium, vitamin B12, phosphorus & selenium etc.

 

Cheese is rich in protein, and a slice of cheese has nearly as much as a cup of milk!

 

 Unlike other high fat dairy products, cheese does not increase heart disease risk…

 

That being said don’t go off and eat a whole block in one sitting LMAO!

 

Nuts

Nuts if you are not allergic are very healthy for you.

 

They are high in fiber and healthy fats, and are an easy way to get into healthy fat eating.

 

Nuts lower your risk of getting certain diseases such as….

 

Heart disease, type 2 diabetes & obesity.

 

Almonds, walnuts, Brazil nuts etc get on them ASAP!

 

K.P nuts & one’s like that are not one of them, as they are packed with salt and not good for you at all.

 

A rule of thumb if you see them in a pub or a club, or a trash joint… Not them!

 

Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Everyone knows how good this is for them, right?

 

It has oleic acid, this is a fatty acid that has anti-inflammatory benefits to it.

 

This one of the major reasons the Mediterranean diet got big, they swore by it and lived much longer because of it.

 

Just know that diets suck! & get on this for life.

 

Extra virgin olive oil is good for your heart, blood sugar & your weight.

 

Coconuts

Coconuts are very rich in saturated fat, which is typically only found in animals.

 

Coconuts are good for your HDL (High-density lipoprotein AKA good) and lowers your LDL (Low-density lipoprotein bad)…

 

Which is great news, the oils are really good for you too and have the same effects but less than eating it pure.
