The Difference Between Natural Sugar & Added Sugar II

Natural sugar & added sugar are not the same thing at all.

This is all about what the differences are between them both.

Added Sugar

Added sugar is the sugar that is processed into so-called food and drinks that are being sold in the shops for the most part.

However, you too can also add it into your food or drink, which is very unhealthy of course.

Corn syrup if you see this on the back of the label, then it means added sugar!

The reasons behind added sugar are as followed… Serving as a preservation for sweet foods like jelly and jam. Maintains freshness of baked goods.

Helps break down fermentation of white bread and alcohol.

This is the sugar you’re going to want to stop adding to everything you consume, this is also the sugar that you will have to limit in the foods that you buy, as it will add unnecessary pounds and will make you unhealthy.

So in the long term if you ignore this, can lead to obesity, tooth decay, type-2 diabetes, sugar addiction or heart disease to name a few.

Natural Sugar

This is found in unprocessed foods, you know that real food.

Your fruits and your vegetables and even certain grains.

Natural sugar is called fructose, which can be found in fruit and lactose, milk products etc.

This is why added sugar lives up to it’s name, you add more thus the food become processed, natural
of course means it’s untouched.

Now natural sugars is that healthy for you ?

Whole food like fruit, dairy, milk, yoghurt and cheese etc whilst all naturally having sugar in them, are not
unhealthy for you off the rip.

It can be depending on which one you get, but I’m talking about as a whole, for example I don’t have to drink cows milk, and I can find sweet cheese too which is bad you feel me ?

Just like with fruit if I sit down and eat 12 oranges in one sitting, that is very unhealthy and I will end up with type-2 and some missing teeth.

Fibre/ water in the fruits helps your body absorb the sugar slowly and steadily, this is another thing that makes it better for us to consume, but again eating 12 or 20 fruits in a day is too much, 2 to 3 servings is just fine for the everyday man or women.

THAT’S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys.

Please do let me know though…
