Stretch Your Body Not Yourself Thin

I’m the type to stretch my body and not myself thin on a daily, If you are like me then this one is not for you.

If however you feel burned out or just stressed with too much going on, and more to the point get aches and pains…

Then this is most def for you.

The Importance Of Stretching Your Body

Stretching keeps our muscles flexible, strong and healthy, you need your body to be flexible, so you actually have a range of motion.

I think that goes missing, when we hear the word flexible, it does not mean you have to be able to put your foot over your head…

It just means you can move in comfort, with lower chance of pulling your muscles.

When you don’t stretch, the muscles shorten and become weak, or should I say tight…

Then, when you want to activate those muscles in an activity, let’s say stretching for a warm-up…

You’ll find you can’t even go all the way down or up & this could cause the pull you feel me?

So it’s important that you do this every day & if not often, or you are rolling the dice
with pulling up like SKR SKR SKR to your local doctor or A&E.

The Benefits Of Stretching

Your older self will thank you in the end, having a range of motion via stretching daily will help your posture.

We need a good posture, or we can suffer later on in life.

It can also improve any form of back pain, a prevention let’s say…

As this one area you do not want to get messed up because once that goes, I don’t think we have anything
that really can sort it out properly, at this point with modern science, so you yourself must look after your
back, that back pain is no joke at all.

Like I said before it prevents injures, as you are stretched, if you are moving then you should have stretched.

Doing any form of sport, hiking, just got out of bed etc, you need to be stretching just to be 100.

Also, soreness it helps a bit to not feel as sore when working out.

I can say myself in comparison to when I never used to stretch, and doing sports or just going around daily and pulling up.

To now (When I say now I’m talking years lol) Always keeping my body stretched, flexi and ready to go, I also do yoga and can do many poses.

I can tell you I don’t suffer any injures at all thus far, since I started many years ago, certainly not from pulling up.

I would so recommend getting into doing this, as the pain is no fun & there is no gain from this, this is not the gym.

This is that ER type pain… That’s a no from me!

Stop Stretching Yourself Thin

If you’re doing 1010 things all at once, all you’re doing is stretching yourself thin.

Whatever you’re doing is going to be mediocre & you will get sick.

Stop trying to micromanage everything & do everything at once by yourself.

The money you are earning is not an excuse to neglect your health, as once you are sick most of your bosses
if you have one, will not care about you, and just merely replace you.

If you’re your own boss, then you must become better at not doing so much just to feel busy, and get rid of the guilt of feeling like if you take time out, or less on that you are not doing anything.

I know you’ve most likely been drilled by mantra about hustle this and hustle that… Look closely since 2020, and you’ll see nearly all those that were saying  just grind all day & team no sleep (I mean whattttttt!)  You will see the following two things…

One: Lockdown got them to really think about what they’re saying & doing and there is more to life (Let’s give them the benefit of the doubt)

Two: If you notice when the lockdown first started, overtime you got to see the grey in those guys beards and hair, which they would normally cover up with dye.

Even some of them took a massive hit and had to fold, so they had to stop this B.S and really focus on doing less & the irony is you can really do more if you do!

Our health is everything & we must keep it healthy or not, but you will suffer pain, they always talk about the rocking chair but most of you if you carry on like you are, will end up on  the ward on an IV drip & that’s no way to bow out if you can prevent it.

THAT’S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know though…

Yoga is my fav, I’m happy that you brought that up. I just wanted to add overstretching is bad too, and not to do it all of the time during the day.
