It’s just crazy what life has in store for you, that you don’t plan for at all.

If you’d told me that I would open up a therapist practice one day I would have never of believed it… ME, A THERAPIST!

To others though, in my life, it does not seem so shocking at all to them.

I’ve always been helping others my whole life, then as I got older it grew…

More help, giving out advice and encouragement.

Then motivation and sharing more of my help across the country and the globe!

 I just never saw myself as a therapist, or going down a road such as this.

The good thing about being your own boss is you call the shots, and the good thing about life is you don’t have to do just one thing.

There are many layers & sides to me, to think otherwise is very naïve & that’s of anyone.

Thinking back to when I had my first client, and she was talking to me about her problems, it really did not feel scary at all as I felt like I prepared for this my whole life…

I felt and I feel at home.

I’ve had a range of issues from mental health to family trauma, some of which was really heavy stuff and of course would never share.

 What I can say is that I would not say that I enjoy hearing things that hurt you, or break you, but I understand instantly & have solutions or know how to guide the person to heal themselves, as this is what it’s really about.

Sometimes it’s not what you say, it could be a look or a touch, it can make all the difference in the world to them.

Other times are more about hearing what they have to say and not saying anything at all, or very little!

It’s all about them, in the moment, not about me!

I hear and see everything & what is not said or seen, I work from there…

So far so good, as I’m still open LMAO!!!

To make others happy, fills me up inside.

I love to give then to take, even though this was not always the case for me growing up.

Now I think about it, every session has helped me improve and learn more about therapy, and heal myself from issues within my own life.

You can learn something from everyone, that’s my motto, so even when I’m dealing with those that are very emotional or angry…

I’m learning and growing. I feel like listening is a lost art, so I’ve really worked on that, even though everyone says I am a good one, I turned good into GREAT!

I could have not done that without having clients, so I’m super thankful.

My hunger has really gone up, as far as helping more and more of you.

When you can see it’s working, it spurs you on to do more and for me also want to keep on getting better, I’m grateful to have had at least one person each day…

I feel truly blessed and thankful for that, trust that they have for me.

Sometimes it’s the things that are not on your mind, or that you don’t pray or ask for that can be the best thing for you, God does not make mistakes.

I don’t know what the future holds for Di1 Therapy, but what I do know is

this unexpected gift is a present I’ll never forget.
