So you wanted me to react to an article about Meghan Markel’s tips on what she eats in the morning to stay in shape.
So below will be my reaction to what I’m reading, the article was written by Andrea Blazquez and its from the Express.
Meghan wrote on her lifestyle blog that the Tig that she is someone who not only loves but also appreciates the art and skill that goes into making good food.
In the royal biography finding freedom, the experts suggest that Meghan’s morning ritual starts with a cup of hot water and a slice of lemon.
LOL, so you don’t really know, and could be all CAP.. Okay, let’s read on!
This is followed by her favourite breakfast of steel-cut oats (Usually made with almond or soymilk) with bananas and agave syrup for sweetness.
It was going so well Meghan until the syrup part, if you want to keep those pearly whites cut that part out, lol.
It is believed Meghan also enjoys an omelette with cheese and toast for breakfast every now and then.
I would have loved to have known what kind of bread she eats, but yeah, cool.
Experts say that drinking lemon water in the morning may boost metabolism.
It’s well known that it does, it’s more so the water, the lemon is just for you to keep at it, as most don’t like the thought of drinking water.. Oh, it’s plain LMAO!
This leads to an increase in metabolism, which may lead to subsequent weight loss. Lemon water also promotes fullness…
Okay, stop it!
WATER promotes fullness, they are adding the lemon part for what I said above, as if the lemon is doing something to the water it’s just for you to stop moaning about oh water is plain, which is cap anyway…
As it’s neutral taste, no ?
I’t’s either cold or hot, no ?
How can that be bland ?
This is what happens when you drink too much crap, your taste buds don’t know what they taste, clean up your diet and come back to me and tell me what you said on that junk again, I bet you, you will not..
That’s talking with my exp, I talk the talk and walk the walk, baby!
For lunch, Meghan reportedly likes to have a heavier meal, although she tries to go for vegan options during the week. “I try to eat vegan during the week and then have a little big more flexibility with what I dig into on the weekends”.
I don’t like all this reportedly, you really don’t know, it takes away from the article to be fair, oh noooo!
The vegans might come for Meghan loool, during the week, but on weekends she digs into the animals, that’s wild!
To me on the doc they did, she said her & Harry are both vegans now, so it might be from an old quote, I don’t know I hope I did not drop her in it LMAO!
At the same time, it’s all about balance.
Uh ohhhh, you know when you hear this it’s a red flag!
It’s not that what she is saying is wrong, it is that most that say this do not balance anything, it’s a crutch to talk about the rubbish they eat, and it tends to be more than the healthy stuff.
I work out the way I do, I don’t ever want to feel deprived. I feel that the second you do that is when you start to binge on things.
Sounds like she is talking from experience, and you only have to look at, what she use to look like when she was younger to know that to be the case.
If that is what works for her then fine, but that’s YOU & not for everyone else, as you are still unhealthy, for consuming trash no matter if it’s a little or not it’s good that she works out, and how she is changed her health for the better, but you are still not healthy, she also drinks too, don’t know if she smokes but yeah it would not surprise me.
So really watch out for who you listen to, she talks of 8/10’s she somewhat makes a lot of sense, but she still delves in unhealthy living, that’s all I’m saying.
She only has one cup of coffee in the morning and in the afternoon, she opts for green juice for an energy boost.
Uh, ohhh! If you are drinking coffee you are not getting a good night’s sleep, I know her lifestyle is up and down, but I don’t make the rules.
A person that is truly healthy does not have to have coffee, it’s to keep you up & alert, it’s a short term fix to keep you up when your body wants to wind down no ?
Which means that if you went to bed well before midnight or at midnight latest & went to sleep, you would have all the energy you would need!
Meghan said: It’s easy to fall into the trap of rushing for a coffee when you hit the 4pm slump.
But if I blend some apple, kale, spinach, lemon, ginger in my vitamix in the morning and bring it to work, I always find that sipping that is a much better boost than a cup of espresso.
It’s even easier to fall into the trap Meghan of staying up late & not leaving your past (The day just gone) and tossing and turning in the night vs leaving that ish there, staying present and going to sleep.
The 4pm slump was a by product of what was not done correct, what lead you to that, thus you set yourself up for that, however I love what she said about blending on the vitamix, all the veg in their lovely, not a bit of trash in site…
I’m so glad she said this, she is for sure an 8/10 kind of girl who does healthy things somewhat, but needs to fine tune some more to really see the best version of herself in terms of her health, but also could work on breaking the old eating habits she had when she was a bigger kid, a coach would take her to the peak of her health for sure in all aspects, this is what I would advise her to do.
