Men’s Mental Health Matters

Today this is all about Men’s health & why it matters!

Men don’t like to talk much about their problems, in gen.

We really like to take care of it all by ourselves, it’s kind of in us to solve things, as the powers that be had pushed for this, in the society that we live in.

What you might not know if you’re not a man, is that comes with pressure.

So if you don’t talk about it, it grows and grows and leads to self deletion.

It’s sad to me, that this happens & there are a lack of places to seek help for men.

How rough men are treated for expressing emotion, via being laughed at, mocked or just told to MAN UP!

One of the reasons I got my own therapist practice, was I saw the lack of care and poor practice, and thought I can’t wait on someone else to do what I believe.

This is not Marvel, or DC Comics!

I’ll step up & like I said, that’s one of the reasons, as I help both genders.

Now from what I’m hearing and seeing, a lot of men are not trusting women, as they are using it as ammo against the man later on.

I would say to that, some do, some don’t but for the women that are…

That’s disgusting & you should be ashamed, if you’ve ever done this.

Imagine we are living in a world where you would rather delete yourself than speak about your problems, you think that your problems cannot be solved.

Which is not accurate, or it would not be one, but the men who think like this

would know this, as they don’t talk, and for a woman to laugh at a man who is in his feelings, is very wicked, and mental health is not a game.

That’s why I salute all women who really care, and are great help and support system

for their best friend, boyfriend, husband etc.

We need forward-thinking women like this, to help or more and more men’s lives

will sadly be taken, team work is the only way this is going to work.

If you are straight and dating the other sex, then it’s vital that you have and trust your partner, or why are you with them?

Standing up and talking & letting it be known that you are not feeling good mentally is a strength.

You think it’s a weakness, but it’s not it takes courage and strength to do that,

these same ones laughing together like sheep, don’t have the guts that you have for speaking up.

Real Men Talk!

Keep saying that to yourself, and never again let that prevent you from speaking, it’s not the speaking part you got wrong, it’s who you are speaking with, cut them out!

That is one of the lowest things that you can do to someone, that a lot let slide, as they don’t know how much mental health matters & your feelings matter.

They say nobody cares, but you’re someone & if it hurts you, you owe it yourself to protect you, ok?

Now in the year that was 2020 in the UK, from what was registered 4912 suicides were registered.

That is 404 lower than in 2019… But take into account we were in lockdown.

The suicide rate for men was 15.3 per 100,000 & the women was 4.9 per 100,000.

Living in the north-east of England had the highest suicide rate with 13.3 per 100,000 in 2020, and this has been the same for the last five out of 10 years & has increased by 15.7 percent.

Fast-forward to 2022 now, and (AS OF WHEN I TYPED THIS) I’ll pull out some live stats across the world.

United States Total Suicide Rate: 16.1

Male Rate: 25 Vs Female Rate: 7.5

Canada Total Suicide Rate: 11.8

Male Rate: 17.6 Vs Female Rate: 6.1

Brazil

Total Suicide Rate: 6.9

Male Rate: 10.9 Vs Female Rate: 3

Russia

Total Suicide Rate: 25.1

Male Rate: 43.6 Vs Female Rate: 9.1

France

Total Suicide Rate: 13.9

Male Rate: 20.4 Vs Female Rate: 7.6

China

Total Suicide Rate: 8.1

Male Rate: 9.8 Vs Female: 6.2

India

Total Suicide Rate: 12.7

Male Rate: 14.1 Vs Female Rate: 11.1

South Korea

Total Suicide Rate: 28.6

Male Rate: 40.2 Vs Female Rate: 16.9

You get the picture!

Something has got to change, or we will lose more and more men.

I really believe that therapy is a great way to help you when you don’t have anyone to talk to, the ones you do are rubbish lol or you need something deeper.

The reality is if you thought you needed therapy, you would already be there, no?

This myth that it’s a weakness to be in therapy, it’s a strength you are helping yourself get back on track or even better than your old self.

Nobody say’s it’s a weakness to go to the spa to get your back rubbed, do they?

Your back is hurting, and you need TLC & you do it, it’s the same here but of course there is stigma around it.

Everyone should have a therapist, and I pray that in years to come it’s just the norm.

It can be for anything mental block, family, marriage, sports mindset etc not just about stopping death.

Your mental health is everything & you need to take care of you, if you’re not doing so well we are here to help you for sure.

Di1 Therapy is a safe place for you to open up & be heard, not just one time, but over and over again.

A therapist is a partner, one that aids you through your recovery, block or problems.

I am here to guide you & you will make the choices that will get you out of this feeling.

If this is something that you would like, or you know someone who could do with some help, then just click below/ show them.

Men’s mental health matters too, together I know we can get through this.

We don’t need to drink, we don’t need to take drugs & we don’t need to self harm.

I’ve worked my whole life really, to help others, & I don’t ever see myself not doing so.

I do want to hear your problems/ issues & I will give my all to help you out of this storm.

No matter what, you’re not alone, I got you & the time of suffering alone is over let’s make it happen!
