I’m Possible- ‘The Last Stylebender’ Israel Adesanya

If you’re struggling, worrying about your goals, don’t have any goals, feel like giving up etc.. Then this is for you!

I’m going to go through some key takeaways from the mindset of Israel, that I think are important & can help you, also we cannot, not talk about what he did to Alex Pereira at UFC 287!

What this is not is a bio of his life, that may or may not come in the future, the main point are the things that you can take away and apply, that is the focus, your mindset shift.

So now that’s clear, let’s do this!

Israel AKA Izzy (What I will be calling him) I find has a very vivid imagination, open-minded, and very expressive in all he does.

This is great in the world of fighting to have these traits, as you’re open to try new things, you listen when you are being spoken to, which he does with his coach, Eugene Bareman.

But for you reading this, who most likely is not in any form of MMA (I could be wrong) can use this in your lives, to paint your picture of your outlook.

If you’re struggling in life & have no goals, it goes hand in hand..

Pause and really find out what it is that you want to strive for in this life, but don’t force it also what can make you not know, is not living, you need to live too, this will better your chances to know what you want and to know yourself better, which is more Important.

You know it’s sad to see when someone knows more about another person they’ve never met over themselves, they should be nobody on this earth you know better than you know yourself, live for you, don’t live through someone else, that’s a waste of a life.

Izzy, loves his anime & you can see he draws power from this, his imagination runs wild, they give him an extra motivation, in his camps to prep for fights, and during matches at times too.

Izzy also uses his tools that his got, as much as he draws energy from anime characters, he does not try to be anyone other than himself, he uses his own tools like I said he loves to dance outside of the fighting, he uses krumping when he fights, the movements to avoid shots, he has been working on his breathing, by going underwater & doing breath work for some time now..

Now he has a much longer gas stank, you don’t see him breathing heavy in fights these days at all, which is unique in the fight game!

So for yourself, use the tools that you have, It’s not to say you cannot look to add more tools, but use what you have is the point.

Izzy is big on manifestation & sees the outcome of his victories, which has made him win more times than not, but he does not just sit there and that’s it he works hard & smart, if he did all the hard work and just worried about what will happen, that is wasting energy.

One thing about Izzy that I love is that, he is very mindful of where his energy goes, and is not very wasteful of it, when it comes to aiming for a result, that’s in and out of the ring.

Where could you put more energy into in your life ?

What could you withdraw your energy from ?

These are things for you to sit with & think about, when you have your answer you can apply for yourself.

Now this whole thing with Alex Pereira/UFC 287 now.

Before this, if you’re not aware, he took masses loses to this guy.

The first time they ever fought was in kickboxing, I believe he won the fight, but was not given the decision on the judge’s scorecard (Which was beyond a joke to be fair).

That’s setback number 1, they then fight again in kickboxing & he is doing well, looking like he will win the fight & out of nowhere, Alex KO’s him & he needs an oxygen mask!

The shock & his pride been shot to pieces like that, in a fight you were so close to winning, he was not known that well then, but fast-forward to present day, to have that thrown back in your face, as pics now on the internet are much easier to find & pretty much remain with you, let alone now becoming a superstar for what you do.

Then on top of that, the first time they fought in the UFC was years later, once again he is winning the fight, in the last round, thinking that he gets his win at long last, he gets buzzed with some shots, he claimed to be fine, but most believed he was badly hurt, though on his feet, they stopped the fight.

Now getting trolls & haters on your neck mocking you!

All of this would make many retire, give up, moan and complain, or even take their own life, these are big L’S for anyone to take in life, but are you willing to suffer & bounce back from them ?

As it’s a lesson if you want it to be or not, real life is a lot harder, but many would have folded just from the first kickboxing match, and be moaning about how it’s not fair.

As Izzy say’s he does not keep score, he settles them.

That’s exactly what he did at UFC 287, he slayed his monster, he shut up the trolls & haters (Until the next fight lol)

He proved himself right, because he stayed the course, this took nearly 10 years to achieve by the way, a ghost from his past came back to haunt and take away what he had been working for, within the UFC for many years.

Another loss to Alex in the UFC would have, had many looking at him like he is not that good then.. A lot was ridding on this fight he was under the light & those that are really great thrive under them, they do not shy away from it.

The light you must go into in your life, no matter how bright, you have one, if you don’t walk it and stay away from you light in life, whatever that looks like for you, you will lose without even entering your fight in this life, just to live on your own terms & have some sense of purpose for why you are here.

In the end Izzy had the last laugh at all those that doubted him, and there is power in that.

For his own sake if anything else, now I’m going to end with his own speech that he said after his victory against Alex.

I really hope this message can enter your mind & you change your life for the better & that always starts within you.

THAT’S IT!

I’ve enjoyed sharing that with you, let me know what you think.

Until next time, ciao 🙂
