If you value yourself, you will value your time, if you value your time you will not put your neck out for an energy vampire, to drain your energy dry.
If you are still doing this or have no idea what I’m talking about, then this is for you!
What & How Do I Feed An Energy Vampire?
Energy vampires are those that go out intentionally to drain your energy, emotionally.
So unlike Count, blood will not spill, these vampires tend to feed off your willingness to be a nice person, and lend them an ear.
You feed these vampires via being too nice for your own good, and not seeing how toxic they really are and knowing the risk they put on your mental health over time.
This is not to be confused with someone really looking to reach out to you, these are those that are always looking to take your energy away gain there’s, then when you are low now, they are gone like the wind, or just carry on taking from you, when you have nothing else to give!
That’s how you’re feeding them, they’re taking your kindness for weakness, and it’s disgusting, and you need to stop letting them do this.
The Signs Of An Energy Vampire Are?
They don’t tend to have fangs, and they seem to love the smell of Garlic, plus also I would not advise using a stake through their hearts, as I don’t want you in the pen/ A Karen reporting me for promoting stake crime!
What you can look out for though are the following below…
They are always in drama not willing to tell you their role in any disagreement or issue.
They make you feel guilty, and even to blame, for their issues.
If not you, then they blame another, it’s never them.
They love to gaslight everything that you’re going through so, they can quickly move on to their issues, you know, to drain you!
They love to play the martyr a lot….
Furthermore, they put their problems on your shoulders, and take no responsibility for their contributions to their own difficulties.
What they want is emotional support, to boost their self-esteem because they have none.
They see kind, compassionate and sensitive people as prey to feast on their energy.
Like I said before you offer an ear, and they go for the neck, and take your energy away knowing damn well you’re becoming weaker.
They can smell when you will feel guilty about turning down a chance to go out too, and will still ask you out regularly and to hell with your own plans, in fact your plan is now to get drained and dumped to them.
They will use guilt trips or ultimatums, it’s a tool to do what they want, and knowing that you’re so nice they know you will feel the guilt & give in to it, as you will feel super bad, even though you’ve done nothing wrong.
They are codependent, this is why a lot of these energy vampires are normally in a dating relationship.
They create drama, emotional need and are willing to go to bullying, threats and even violence to get what they want, when the guilt-tripping and fake crying does not work.
They will also play games with you, and waste even more of your time.
Why I’m Going To Need You To Stop Feeding Them?
If what you’ve read up to now does not want to make you run a mile, or just leave them on read then I’ve got more.
Me I’m sending them to Blockeisha Island, 😉 never to be found again!
However, I understand you don’t have the ties that I do to the island, so this is what you do instead.
Establish boundaries, if you don’t know what your boundaries/ you have none, these vampires will run game on you!
Stop agreeing to go to lunch and dinners, with these vamps, ok?
Don’t go on weekend trips, let alone abroad, with these vampires!
Expectations… Lower them! You cannot fix them, or anyone for that matter, so stop, or die trying!
You can control you though, so stop giving the vamps a chance to take your energy away.
Shut off your emotional support for them, when they vent to you, tell them to go somewhere else with that.
If they call you, text, email, slide a DM on social, either don’t answer or do not let them take it there.
This takes time and energy, so to be honest; you should not even be talking with them!
Cut them out all together!
You should not be with these vampires anyway, it’s them or you at the end of the day.
When you really see that these energy vampires don’t give a toss about you, and they are using you then you will start to wake up, if you’re about nothing and give your time away like a 2 dollar hoe then that’s on you.
Just do not moan about these same vamps, as we now know it’s your fault, for keeping them around, still thinking they are for you, just for you….
In fact, start telling these vamps no and see how they act, try it out and see how they react, I bet you I’ve got more fingers than you’ve got chances, before the mask falls off and they have a showdown with you.
Or do something you’re not used to seeing, as you always do what they say like a good doggy…
Yeah, that’s how they see your ass.
THAT’S IT!
I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys.
Please do let me know though…
