Fall in love With Carrots

Sometimes if we can add more of what we already eat/ add back to what we used to eat (The healthy foods)

 

It makes our lives a lot easier, with less thing to be concerned about.


I really believe that everyone can fall in love with carrots, as it’s a global food that I’m sure all of us have tasted.


So let’s fall in love already!

 

What Are Carrots?

Carrots  are root vegetables which are super healthy for us to eat.


It taste very crunchy, and is a great source of beta-carotene, antioxidants, potassium, vitamin K1 & fiber.


They are also known to improve eye vision/ eye health.


You can’t really miss carrots as they are bright orange but, they’re not just in orange they can be found in also white, yellow, red and purple too!


Why so many bright colours?


Well orange carrots for example get their bright colour from beta-carotene, and when we eat that it’s an antioxidant that our body turns into vitamin A for us.

Helps With Weight Loss

This is very good for any of you looking to lose weight up in here!



Foods that are high in fiber of course need to be included in what you eat daily, they cover both soluble and insoluble fibers too BTW.



You will feel a lot fuller quicker when you eat fiber foods, which prevents you from eating over what you should.



You can add carrots to meals in so many ways, it really is a weight loss tool.

Fights Cholesterol & Boosts Heart Health

The fiber in carrots is a boost to your heart’s health as it removes all the excess LDL (BAD FAT) cholesterol from our blood vessels & arteries.



I find that this is not really spoken about as much as I would like it to be, so I had to let you know.

 

Lowers Blood Pressure

Need extra help with lowering your blood pressure?  



Calm down and eat some carrots!



Carrots are packed with potassium, which helps relax any tension in our blood vessels or arteries…



Which helps our circulation of blood flow and takes down are high blood pressure.



You do not want high blood pressure because it’s first  of all unhealthy, and it’s linked to things like heart attacks & strokes.



So get eating those carrots to protect your heart.  

Lowers Chance Of Getting Some Types Of Cancer

Of course not all!

I know that foods that are rich in carotenoids help protect us against many types of cancer.

Which ones?

Stomach cancers, colon cancer, breast cancer & prostate cancer.
