Working should be fun, and if you’re not having fun, then something is really wrong.
We tend to talk about the pain a lot of what happens after, and that puts people off, but what I wanted to do is put some light on the gifts that exercise gives you.
As the saying goes no pain no game right ? But it’s way deeper than just muscles, yo.
The physical and mental benefits really help, not just from lifting.. but from walking/dancing too.
We are human beings, and we are made to move around, that’s facts… There is no need to overthink this & let’s just clear our minds and look at all the gifts that come with their exercise…
That are long lasting than any pain you may get after the workout.
Happiness The irony of all this pain is, it actually gives you happiness if you stick at it.
Those of you like me who love to work out are not crazy, if it was so awful nobody would work out lmao!
I’m not saying for you to become a fanatic, what I’m saying is find some element that you do like and stick with that.
It’s not something you can say you do not like, and it goes away, your decision not to like it will come back to you big time!
It’s like foolish people that say they do not like water and do not want to drink, knowing damn well your body is made up of the stuff… You cannot make this ish up, LMAO!
You do realise this also is a mood changer? It helps decrease feelings of depression, anxiety and stress.
Sitting on your sofa eating junk food and overthinking about what someone did, ain’t it, or what you have to do that is not done.
All this stress has got to go, and I know many of you are waking up to this as 2020 forced you to see through then lens of people that are about this life… I’m not talking about fame or riches, I’m talking about those that are taking their health to the top.
The sooner you leave the mansion you’ve got up in the hills of the past, the better you will feel, and working out makes you very present drip by drip, lol. Exercise can not cure everything mentally, but it can cure a lot, so please be open to it.
Duhhhhhhhhhhhh! When we are static, we gain weight and obesity can creep up real quick.
Of course, when we are moving we are losing, which is great.
Working out is well known for weight loss, you already know!
What needs to be said though, is that we should always be working out no matter what weight we are.
This body is our vehicle, and we need to take care of it, or face a collision course with the reaper due to chronic disease.
Your Muscles & Bones Need It
This hardly ever gets said, but it’s so true. If you take the stance of I don’t want to hurt my body, your body will never grow.
You can be really slim, not eat much or w.e and still be in a lot of back pain… Why? You never worked out your back a day in your life!
Your legs, the same thing. Our muscles absorb amino acids that help us grow and reduce the breakdown of our body when we work out.
When we age, our muscle mass tends to go down, which leads to a higher chance of injury.
The way to battle back is to keep working out, which will help when your body is trying to reduce your muscles and your strength as you age, all this work…
Try to see it as getting to old age when everything is stripped away, what you will be left with is from you work that you have done, sets you up to not be in so much pain you know.
Of course when you’re old you should still be working out, but my point is doing it when you are young your body want to forget what you have done, and it will be a lot easier to do so, then to start when you are older and your body is in pain from all the years you have abused your own vehicle.
Football, basketball, gymnastics, running etc these type of sports really help your bones and muscles.
Energy levels Up
Those that don’t exercise always say oh well I don’t have any energy rah, rah, rah.
If you had exercised, you’d know that physical activity gives you more energy, LMAO!
Just 4 to 6 weeks of regular exercise reduces the feeling of fatigue that you feel when you first start doing a new exercise.
The bigger picture is 4 to 6 weeks is not very long at all in comparison to the rest of your life, you’re telling me you cannot do this?
Come on nowwww, you did longer than that when Joe was doing his fitness videos in lockdown!
I know that you can.
It Can Reduce Your Risk Of Chronic Disease
A lack of regular activity is what causes chronic diseases on the most part.
When you exercise you actually get improved insulin sensitivity, a heart that is healthy, and a better looking body both in and out!
You tend to have lower blood pressure levels, cholesterol too.
No regular exercise puts you in a world of danger, in an already broken world.
The amount of chronic diseases from a stroke to type 2 diabetes, It’s a menu you don’t want to order from.
Improves Brain Health
It has hormones that boost the growth of brain cells.
This will increase your chances of keeping your memory and learning skills.
It also will help prevent you from getting Alzheimer’s disease and other mental problems as you age.
Sleep Quality On Ten
When we work out we feel more relax at bedtime.
It makes our body know what a good job that we’ve done and puts us in a state of peace, even with the pain, I may add.
Your energy is now gone, and you sleep like a baby, vs having all this pent-up energy, and it’s used on just moaning to yourself or overthinking about thigns you cannot change anyway.
Many of us now have sleep disorders, this does not sit right with me at all. If you want to sleep better, you have to go to sleep LMAO!
You cannot do that if your mind is filled with worries and concerns and fears, working out helps with both.
You need to get real with you and choose which one do I really want, the knowing that if I do nothing about it I know what I’ll get at least or let me work on my health over and over again and see if this works for me.
It’s not hard, it’s just some of you don’t desire it in action as you do talk.
I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know though…
