Don’t Make This The Christmas From Hell

I’m aware for a lot of people Christmas this year will be a tough one for you.

I think we can all agree that no matter where you stand financially, you’ll be having to make some form of adjustments, as even certain foods and products are barely in stock or out of stock.

What I’m focusing on this, is the food side of things, just because of this, I get the sense from you guy’s that a lot of you want to give up on your healthy choices, or you don’t want to however, the governments choices, is making it hard for you.

I hear & understand that, what I would say to all of you that feel like this, is I’m not telling you to go in to debt to eat in this way, they’re ways to make this work, but cuts would have to be made else where (For some of you) others you’re not able to which is a shame.

However, I know a lot of Di1’s that if you made cuts else where could make it work, what you consume before you started going for the healthier choices, was not the only poor choices you were making, for example when you drink alcohol, that does not normally tend to be the only poor choice you make now is it ?

If you drink, there is a higher chance that you smoke too, or if you drink that you will drink over your limits and become drunk, right ?

So, it’s like that for this too for some of you, see if you can find other places where you can make cuts, like your drinking or smoking and put that into your food, to make healthier selections.

Instead of focusing in on chocolates and sweets, how about putting that money towards giving your body energy rather than taking it away off a sugar crash ?

For those of you that are not doing any of those things, not even on holidays and are really worried about certain foods that you will struggle to get, because of shortages or your own funds or anything like that, stressing about it not being there is not going to make it be there.

That’s hard for those that like to have a set plan in place, but plans don’t always go to plan, a plan that is not adjustable, is a very rigid one.

When I say that I’m not talking about morals, like if you’re a vegan eat meat lol, or lowering your standards, but one where if turkey is not on the menu, you are willing to have duck for example, or if you love carrots but you cannot get any, you can have green beans instead, things like this.

What I don’t want you to do, which pushed me to speak on this is, to have the Christmas from hell!

You start eating things that you’ve been working 11 months or longer to stop eating, new Di1’s are more likely to fall for this, if you have other family members that are coming over and they are not looking after themselves, and they tell you oh just eat this and that it will be ok, this can also be a way for you to mess up what you’ve been doing.

Some of you may have made a choice that you will be eating whatever at Christmas, and I understand that everybody has their own thing, but I’m never going to encourage that, I will always encourage and push you to choose the healthy choices, actually food.

I want to see all of you keeping the weight that you’ve lost off & starting the new year with more confidence then you did the last, not in the mud and adding excess weight, this is the danger time in December where it tends to happen, so save yourself from the hell of having to work it all off, which most of you never do anyway!

Make choices now that in the long run, the you’s you’ve yet to become and want to become and will become, will be proud of!

THAT’S IT!
