Bring The Fire This Year: New Year New You?

Happy New Year To You Di1’s! I love each and every one of you, and I really want all of you to bring the fire this year! “What do you mean Karim?”

Well a lot of people right now are saying “New year.. New me” then in a month’s time “Sh*t year.. Same Old me” and I think that’s really quite sad to be frank.

So down below I’m talking about bringing the fire, tips to help ya’ll out this year and really asking the questions do you really want a new you 😃

Bringing The Fire

Bringing the fire is how you’re going to have a lit year period. You do this enough and you’ll not only be deemed a success, but you’ll know so too. For those that thought last year was not a great one, it was simply because you brought lukewarm or even worse stone cold water to the table! It’s really ok though because never again will you bring that fearful, half baked, mediocre liquid to the table again because you know better and you’ll do better this time around.

Even the Di1’s that absolutely brought the fire when they worked there butt’s off on this (Click Here) can ill afford to get complacent just because of the success they had last year. To remain lit you’ve got to keep moving and working towards your goals, I know the Di1’s know but if you’re a new here and don’t have any goals.. then you need to read this (Click Here). I think it’s time for some fire tips 😉

Fire Tips

The best kept fires come from within.. internally first rather than externally. This comes from finding out what you’re actually passionate about, what you love to do and then believing in yourself, then going ahead setting up your goals and achieving them. For example you’re here because in some form or another you  want to improve your health right?  So the more clued up you are on what you actually want from within yourself rather than what your parents, friends and family have demanded/suggested the bigger your flames will be within you.

Consistency & persistency even when things get tough  for us  and we are down in the trenches we must be able to dig deep and keep going.. even on days we don’t really feel like we want to. Once again it’s an inside job from a positive attitude/self talk to visualizing your triumphs; this will help you year after year bring the fire bigger and badder than ever.

When you start doing the smallest of things that are great/healthy for you often, that will breed the consistency on the outside.. until it becomes a habit ingrained into your much healthier lifestyle.

Despite what you may of heard this isn’t Baseball, three strikes and “YOU’RE OUT!” if for example you’ve never ran before in your life but it’s something you’d love to explore, I’m not then saying to you  “Go run 10 miles and back”.. because you’d  feel like it’s 10 miles flat on your back after barely doing  1mile 😅  rightfully so too.. It’s your first time you didn’t train for this.

Instead what I am saying is take smaller steps do  a 1 mile run, and then move up to 3 miles and then do a 5 ect, this is because you’ll feel more encouraged to carry on with the running and not feel defeated which = you quitting and we don’t want that as quitters never win! With the smaller steps you are actually achieving things, will be in a better frame of mind and subconsciously the running will turn from a self inflicting chore to a healthy habit for life.

Do You Really Want A New You?

Like I said at the top everybody in January say’s “New year.. New me”  but what will you be saying in February?..  December?

What we do know is that the majority of people (Who don’t read  this article) are going to give up on this “New year.. New me” act because it’s nothing but a generic gimmick to them, that happily talk about this time of year simply because.. everybody else they know does 🤦🏾‍♂️

Don’t underestimate what’s above.. it’s going to be a long a road depending on where you’re at overall in life. I think for the most part wherever that place is great yet or not you’re going to have to patient in one way or another, which is just life and achieving things worthwhile.

These quick schemes,  Pills and any form of diets is what the majority are all doing.. & how’s that working out for them? Right now the obesity rate is growing whilst the world’s population becomes sicker. If you do the norm,  you be the norm and you’ll die like the norm. This is why you won’t see me telling you ever to invest in trash that will leave you sicker, just to gain a profit.

So do you really want a new you? Only you can answer that for yourself. Whatever you decided I really would like you to make peace with the decision, and not be in regret over what you did or didn’t do, moaning is not cool and no way to live.. here’s hoping you choose wisely.

THAT’S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys.  Please do let me know though…

Karim this was a very good article thanks. What I want out of this year is to lose some pounds 🙂 I’m starting your meal plan as of today, see how I go and then I’ll sign up to the coaching program. I’m having issues with self love at the moment too, so those are my two areas I’m working on.
