A Starters Guide To Leg Workouts

If you’re looking to get stronger legs, but don’t know where to start, then I got you!

To me, I’ve always been the opposite, I’ve always loved and never skipped leg day!

It’s my fav body part to workout & I actually love the pain of it.

When I had no clue on what to do, I trailed and tested, I was literally working them in the dark like Batman LMAO!

So, I’m very experienced, and I know exactly what to do, that will give you every chance to see growth in your legs, so I know it helps, you just got to start now!

Calf Raises

If you want to grow your calf’s, there is no way around it…

This has to be one of you go to workouts!

This is something you can start right away, anywhere, like literally anywhere you stand.

You stand up straight and you raise yourself from your toes so that your heel lifts up slowly, and then go down.

Then you keep doing that, now for me, I would advise you to go slow as you are under tension longer an you will get great results, if you are working them out every week.

However I’ve done them fast too, when I was first starting out, as it hurt like hell, and you are more than likely going to want to do that, and I won’t lie to you, doing it fast you will still see growth, it’s just you’ll see a lot more going slower, that’s the case on 99% of any workout you do anyway.

I would also advise you when you first start doing these to fit these, in often!

Not just once a week, these are muscles that need to be hit, so like 2 or 3 times a week to see growth, if you can split it up one morning & evening session, then even better.

I would advise you to start off with 3 sets of 10, then when that gets easy for you, 3 sets of 20, and then just keep on increasing the amount, when you have it on lock and it’s not a struggle any longer, you will feel the burn, however, once you pass each level, you will see your own calf’s get bigger, for me they became like big oxygen chambers, which helped them breath…

Then I started to feel the pain in my calf’s less, I had more stamina & it’s been years since I suffered any sort of leg cramp or an injury to my legs, as I built them up.

Bunny Hops

I’m sure many of you have done this before, you know when you was younger lol.

Why stop, when it increases your calf’s ?

Get in position of  a bunny rabbit, and start hopping across the floor, until failure.

This is something I would advise you do at the end of each leg workout, it will really

kill your calf’s which is the aim, so it can build up again, once you take on your fluids, eat up and the most important go to sleep on time & for the right amount of hours!

Frog Leaps

Sticking with the animals, go all the way down on the floor like a frog, then  leap up as high as you can in the air lol!

It may look silly, but it gets results, your quads will thank me for it, and it will burn your quads.

I would advise you to do 5 leaps, then move up to 10 & then when you have that on lock, do 3 sets of 10.

Squats

You can do this with weights, or use your own bodyweight, it really does not matter.

The most important is take your time, go slow and reap the rewards.

I would advise that you start of with three sets of 10, then move up to three sets of 12, then when you get really good, three sets of 15.

THAT’S IT!

I Really Hope That Helps You Get Started, If You Want More Workouts For Your Legs Or Another Body Part, Please Have A Look At This (WORKOUTS)
