It’s not too late to start working on your health and fitness, It’s not just a buzz word, it’s the truth!
This is why I’m making this for the 50 & up, we’re not just looking that way we got you too.
If you’re this age, and you can do everything well, then this is not for you.
This is for those that are starting out, or want to but think it’s too late.
There are so many workouts you can still do, if you feel as young in your head as you talk… Put up!
This is an all round workout for your whole body, and less stress on your joints, if you have problems with them.
This will work your cardio, the resistance gives you strength as you’re in the water too.
You could do laps, or get into water polo or even aqua aerobics, so if you can swim this is a good way to get fit… Without messing up your joints!
Weight & Strength Training
If you’ve still got it then use it baby! It could be strength training, weight training or resistance, it doesn’t matter, it’s all great for your health.
If are still able to, then you should as it stops you from falling and do keeps you doing everyday task, at your age now and older…
Improves your mobility of course and increase your mood, also mentally it does wonders for you. You also do not need any weight at all, you can use your own body weight and workout in so many more places.
This is a really good way into getting into working out in a none sweaty way or painful way/less painful way lol!
Clearing your mind and making your body workout for you in yoga is a great reason to start doing it.
You can do in or outdoors, it’s a form of resistance training too as it’s your own body weight, and helps with balance too.
If you feel like, oh I can’t do that… Start with Chair yoga!
The list of yoga’s you can do will have your jaw wide open, It’s so easy to get into and helps your body.
I do this and I don’t get hurt at all via aches, pulls and what not, as yoga has taken my body in that way to another level along with my mind.
Hiking & Biking
The outdoors is good place to workout, hiking counts.
If your knees are shot and it just hurts to run, hiking is the next best thing.
You will actually get a view & your body and your mind will be taking it all in at the same time.
You don’t have to go to the mountain top, just go for a long hike in nature and really take in the present moment.
You start doing this often, your health will improve tenfold.
Biking also is good choice too, can be done in or outdoors, again you will have a view whilst really getting a workout in.
