You’re Going To Overeat So This Is What You Do

Overeating is problem for many of my Di1’s who are looking to lose weight.

That feeling you get when you know you’ve eaten too much can be very uncomfortable.

It hurts your stomach and in turn you can even throw up, in our minds too we feel guilty and start beating ourselves up about it, which is counterproductive and taking the focus off our goal.

So now I’m going to help you like you’ve just overeaten something, so when it happens again you’ll be able to handle it better…

As I know how much it brings you down & we’ve got to change that!

Ok My Belly Is Full Now What?

First off I need to explain what overeating really means. You do know that there is no objective amount we are talking about right?

Everybody’s amount is different, so don’t expect any numbers or anything like that.

Ok now being able to satisfy your hunger levels is so vital but also tricky to do, it does not help if you’re eating junk food either because it’s all trash you’re putting inside yourself.

When we eat blindly and do not even realise how much food we’ve eaten this is where the overeating catches us.

Most likely at a friend’s house, holiday or just something else is taking higher priority in the moment than what you had put in your mouth that day.

On occasions this is not really a bad thing (Overeating not the junk food) but when overeating is your daily norm and you feel sick, unhappy, uncomfortable more often than not it’s time to take action.

Face Facts You Did It

We have to be honest with ourselves, or we will not lose any weight at all and only get bigger.

You may think it’s dumb but you’ll be shocked how many with goals to lose weight do not  face the fact that they ever overeat.

We have to be honest and true to ourselves my Di1’s, we cannot gas ourselves up on a lie.

You did it, own up!

Just don’t beat yourself up about it, take action and do better next time for example…

Every time you eat something really check your fullness, give your body time to digest what you’ve eaten.

That way you’ll know if you’ve had more than you can really eat or not.

It does not take very long at all to check in on how your body is feeling, let’s say a pause and that pause can save you from overeating which will help you in the long run.

Once you know the feeling you get when you feeling like this is your limit or you feel unwell/unhappy, you’ll know it for the future too.

This will trigger your mind because of the exp you had before to not do it again, if you ignore that or just brush it off on a lie then you’ll exp it over and over again…

The same lesson will keep coming back to you until you learn it as they say!

Drink Water

Water is the go-to drink and if you’re not drinking this daily, you’re in and going into further sickness, pain and health issues.

The thought of that sucks when for most of you reading this it’s right there, but some of you still won’t drink it & will find out the hard way.

Water helps you hydrate your body and for this whole overeating thing, it helps flush out your body…

What I mean is if you ate too much than you really needed, drinking water can help move that food down your body and help you get it out of your body if you catch my drift lmao.

Press Pause

It’s like I was saying before we must pause and take our time to check in on our bodies to know if it’s full or not, how much can I really eat before my belly is ready to pop!

If you’re in-tune with your body you know when it’s speaking to you, they call it the gut feeling right?

It’s the same when you’re eating your body is telling you I can eat more or I cannot, so do not wait to practice this when you next go out enjoying yourselves…

Practice this when you’re eating at home and more mindful and do not stop, that way over time the pause will become like breathing it’s on autopilot because it’s become a habit.

It’s all in the pause, and then we listen and take action on what our body is telling us.

I know everybody who is reading this can do this! I’m telling you now, other areas in your life will be better because you chose to press pause.

THAT’S IT

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know, though…
