Why You’re Vegan But Not Losing Any Weight

This is for my Di1’s who are Vegan but do not seem to be losing any weight or have stopped doing so.

The idea came from the constant complaints I was hearing about it in real life, but someone on my social said it to themselves and it pushed me to make this…

As I feel like she’s not the only one who needs help with this.

Portion Sizes

The one that most of you would have guessed I’m sure but let me explain.

The healthy food options for example Nuts & Seeds, Fruits & Veggies, etc..

Β

They all help our body cells/maintain & heal our tissues such as Immune cells, Skin, Hair & Muscles.

This is all good for us, but it’s not an unlimited supply of these nutrients that we need, the amount our body really needs is based on your age, sex, height, body weight goal & your physical activity levels.

A younger, taller, active female who is in shape needs bigger portions than an older woman who is smaller and lives a sedentary life (She needs to get off the sofa really… but you get what I’m saying!)

I’ve seen so many times when I’m working with my Di1’s that choose to go on my workout programs, and I tell them to start journaling what they eat.Β

Β

I find that they aren’t losing weight because their nutrient intake exceeds their needs.

If you yourself are reading this and do not journal what you eat, but you’re looking to lose weight in the long run & more to the point keep it off you have to step up your game and start making notes.

If you go by chance/just do whatever in the dark you more than likely will not make any gains to lose weight..

Β

The easy part is the start when it comes to losing in comparison to the middle and the end and then the aftercare of keeping your body lit for life requires you to become a better version of you each time.Β

Β

Just everything changes like the mindset over and over again.

I would recommend either my coaching program (Click To See Program Put a link to coaching prog)

Β

Β

Where I teach you myself or my meal plans that I made for y’all (Click To See Meal Plans)

Β

Where the portion control is already done for you.

100 Percent Only

I don’t see the point of setting a goal if you’re not going to give it your all, so if this is something you really desire or is it merely something you wish to happen?

It’s best you make the choice now rather than wasting your time on something you kinda want but not really, really really want.

If you’re 50 percent in that will not do because that’s half of the time and half off…

Β

If you’re 90 percent that’s better but still not it, because you are leaving stones unturned and have a slim chance to fail.

If you go for this fully and give everything you’ve got and take it serious, you can do this and anything that you put your mind to, even when you slip and fall you’ll get straight back up and go again.

It’s really hard to do this and feel like you want to carry on when you give anything less, as your heart is not in it.

Go 100!

You’re Kidding Yourself

This one is so important because it’s within you to sort out and become aware if you’re kidding yourself or nah, now what do I mean by that?

I work with a lot of Di1’s daily helping them get to their goals and what I notice with the Di1’s that are Vegan at the start, is that they’re eating plant-based treats…

Β

Β You knowΒ  Ice cream, Cakes & Snacks which are so high in calories, and are refined with flour & added sugar.

I mean come onnnn..

Β

It’s trash for your body, and you know this! It strips away nutrients and fiber, which kills your goals that you’re working so hard for.

Β

Zero excuses there are other options other than white flour which if you’re eating plant based and have been for the longest you already know this…

Β

So I believe you’re kidding yourself if you really believe you have done everything you can to lose weight and you’re still eating refined flour and added sugar.

In fact you’re taking the mick, point blank period!

Β

Β I really feel sorry for anyone that is so much into their own delusion that they believe that this is right thing to do.Β

Β

You want to eat a whole tub of Ice cream and then cry about weight gain GTFOH!

Of course if you want to stop eating it and you cannot that is another thing all together, but if you are not aware of this or do not want it to change…

You’re getting in your own way and you will take an L big time, if you felt hurt by this section..

It was for you, because you need to wake up and take ownership for the poor choices that you make over and over again by eating such trash.

You Don’t Have This Major Key

What you eat is far more important than how much of it you eat.

Does that mean that I’m saying to hell with portion control?

No, what it means is to be smart and read the labels to see how many calories you’re putting into your bodies etc.Β

Β

It does not have to be a count off either just be smart with it and eat healthily.

For example you can eat bean burgers in a higher volume than you could if you ate a cheese Pizza because the bean burgers have less calories in them.Β

The one thing I want you take away from this is below because it will save you a lot of time and frustration…

When you shrink (lose weight.) your food must do the same, that window must get smaller with your body.

If you eat how you did before you lost the weight, you’ll end up with the body that you had right?

So you must be able to make adjustments, when doing them with an open mind and willingness to keep what you’ve got or improve on what you’ve got.

You don’t want to have gone through all of that hard work and then to gain it all back again now do you?

The fact is I want you to live your best life in full health mind, body and soul.

The aim is always to give you gems that you can take away and apply, I’m not happy if you’re still here on my site.

A decade from now with the same health problems… I see that as a massive L.

Most of these other sites you be reading want you there for a lifetime and get you on products that you leave you sicker.

Soulless, heartless… Well my Soul & my Heart is in full motion and I want everyone that’s reading this to not be in the same spot or worse a decade from now.

I’ve got big dreams and a part of it is having everyone that wants to be healthy is HEALTHY.

Not stuck, lost or without knowing what the hell to do, & we will get to this stage on God.

THAT’S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know, though…

I’ve been vegan for 3 years now this month, I use to lose a lot of weight but since then

I’ve been eating a lot more than I should like treats and since lockdown I’ve put on so much weight back on.

It really sucks but I’m willing to give my all now to never be in this same spot again, thank you for pushing me.
