We all know that Bananas are a popular fruit across the globe.
The colours can vary in colour, shape and size but are grown in Southeast Asia, with India & China being the top producers of them.
Bananas contain fiber and a host of antioxidants, potassium, vitamin B6, vitamin C, magnesium, copper, manganese & protein
It really consists of water and carbs and holds next to nothing in fat & not much protein.
When the bananas are unripe aka it’s green it’s mainly starch but as it ripens all the starch turns into sugar.

Bananas aid weight loss as they’re a weight loss friendly food for sure!
They don’t have many calories, the average banana has only 100 to 105 calories… Yet it’s still so filling.
Eating loads of fiber from this and other fruits and veg over and over again will boost your weight loss goals.

Potassium is a mineral that is essential for your heart health and blood pressure control.
Despite that few people that get enough potassium in their daily foods which is a shame.
As we very many of us know already bananas are a great source of potassium for us to be eating.
When you’re eating foods that a potassium rich based it lowers blood pressure & those that eat their potassium have a lower chance of getting a heart attack.

Bananas just like other fruits and veg are a great choice and source when looking to get antioxidants.
All of these antioxidants are linked with reducing old age illnesses and heart disease.
One of the antioxidants is dopamine which gives us a feel good factor in our brain, which can change our mood to a happier place.
So if you’re in a bad mood Bananas are your go to.

Athletes don’t have to eat their hearts out when they can eat bananas!
They have mineral content and are so easy to digest carb.
Bananas help reduce muscle soreness/ cramps which is not just for athletes but for all of us as… 95 percent of the whole world suffers from it.
So before or after a workout bananas are the way to go.

They are so convenient to walk around with if you’re out, if i drop it I can still eat it as it’s got it’s skin.
You can add it to yoghurt, cereals and that… Plus it’s just so easy and tasty to eat you really cannot fail with this!
