So let’s zero in on the powdered form and I’ll explain to you why you’re better off eating alternative foods instead.
Maqui Berry Is A Super Fruit However..
Maqui berry is a super fruit but only in its full form as a fruit, not squeezed into a juice or crushed into powder.
The benefits of a Maqui Berry are as followed below..
Loaded with Antioxidants
Helps fight Inflammation
Helps against Heart disease
Aids blood sugar control
You’re now probably thinking; what about weight loss?
Many of you have only heard of Maqui berry because it’s been linked to weight loss..
Unfortunately there is not enough evidence at this time to say either way if this fruit does aid with weight loss, which is why I’ve left it out.
Maqui Supplements.. Don’t Take Them
Maqui berry in South America is considered safe when eaten in small amounts as a fruit.
However the reason why you should not waste your money on Maqui berry supplements is because those benefits up top don’t exist in supplement form.
So essentially you’re being overcharged for a fruit that has been crushed up, lost its benefits and that they’ve added all kinds of chemicals, metals and God knows what else to.. and claiming it’s healthy for you, knowing that you think it’s as healthy or close to the real fruit when in all actuality it’s just like the rest of the supplements.. Bad for your health & Trashed.
Why would they do this?
Well the Maqui is known as a super fruit, they cannot really get enough outside of South America to profit from it.. so the next best thing in their eyes is to con you to make that money, knowing that it’s not healthy for you to be consuming!
What To Eat Instead
The great news is there are plenty more foods you can eat to get similar benefits to your body, without having to be tempted to purchase trash or fly to South America to get some.
Although if you did book a flight to South America I wouldn’t stand in your way.
