If you’ve ever read “My Philosophy” Click Here you’ll know that I’m not a fan of Diets in any way, shape or form.
They’re very short term based and don’t actually work, when I say work I’m talking about the long term.. not just in the moment short term.
Let me ask you something, do you know of anybody who has been on a Diet and lost weight, and maintained via staying on that same diet
for.. Let’s say 10 years? (Too high maybe ?)
5 years?.. (Still too much for you?) 3 years??
You see the point is you either lose the weight and gain it all back again or you don’t make any progress whatsoever.
Which can makes us believe that healthy eating is really difficult and that Dieting is the only way, which is a myth.
One Google search will tell you Diet is defined as.. “A special course of food to which one restricts oneself, either to lose weight or for medical reasons”.
This is incredibly short sighted.. & to boot a false statement for reasons I will mention later on.
Some of the more well known diets like the Paleo or the Atkins diet don’t ever tell you this.. have you ever thought why that may be?
These are billion dollar industries profiting off lies! They’re selling you a fantasy that does not exist, promising you the world and then delivering absolutely nothing.
They take your hard earned cash, time and time again with no remorse, while they win, you lose..
You start thinking that your body just can’t lose weight or you’re just never going to have the body that you want because you did this Diet and maybe you were the problem..
when in truth the problem was the fraudulent soulless companies.
I say soulless because most are not owned by a singular person just a big company that own other companies and heck, health is not even on their to do list, they’re eating trash with the TV on.
Their agenda is just to make some bucks from you.
You trusted them and with that trust they took advantage, spun you a line and took off with your money.
The yo-yo effect should only be if you’re playing 90’s Hip-hop music rapping and nodding your head in your car.. for nostalgia not to be known
for people wasting their time on Diets that don’t work and they regain it back all over again if not more!
This causes stress (Which leads to more weight gain by the way)
So below are 3 more reasons why Diets suck and then I’m going to tell you a better alternative, because if you cannot tell by now I’m sick and tired of this myth about Diets being the thing to do.. you’re being scammed and it’s time you knew the truth.
Way too many restrictions for someone struggling with weight loss to handle in my professional opinion.
Some who go on Diets see success early on. The reason for this is because of the restrictions for example, check this out below..
-No Carbs restrictions
-Low calorie restriction
-Low fat restrictions
Now, this works for a short time only through a drastic drop in calories and you will see weight loss.
Think of boxers trying to make weight, how they look at the weigh-in on the Friday.

It’s about how you feel not just what you look like, take doing this in the short term how will you feel?
Hungry for one! sluggish, tired and deprived.
So why would you even bother doing this at all if you know it will make you feel like this, and it’s only effective for the short term?
It will only be a matter of time before you’ll lose your will power and give up, and rightfully so, it was not designed for the long term.

food but which is really junk/trash and not organic in anyway shape or form.
They know that most people will not be happy with that and want you to keep on eating Chocolates, Crisps AKA Potato chips & many other sugary treats that are killing you.
This is more detrimental to your weight loss goals in the long term than any of the restrictions that these Diets impose on you for weight loss and more importantly for your overall health.
No Support No Accountability
This one I’m sure most of you can relate to when starting a new diet.
You have the book or the PDF on you, but then you notice.. hang on a second, it’s just little old me and the program.. OH NO!
What do I do if I need guidance or support?
Most people are not good at asking for help either, and may end up giving up even before that point because they feel silly & just don’t want anyone to know they are stuck.
When you really think about it, who will be there checking in on you? and who will be there to make sure you’re working towards your goals?
This is a major issue with Diets that are around, zero support.. no support system, it’s a bit more complex than going out to Harrods looking for a handbag..
Just like I said, these companies don’t care. There is no real soul behind it, why would they bother? they know you don’t know plus they don’t care.
So that leaves you all by yourself to figure it out, maybe a recluse’s dream but for many this will be a nightmare.

Diets Don’t Educate You
Well other than not to be on one in the first place!
One of the main reasons why the obesity rate is so high is because of a lack of education being passed on.

Or some white powder that El Chapo would plan a third prison break to get his hands on!
With no knowledge there can be no progress in terms of you knowing what the hell it is you’re doing, and even past the short term Diet you’re on.
What do you do when a diet’s over anyway?
How do you make the correct choices when eating out, or at a party at the weekend?
How do I eat to improve my workout performance?
How do I eat to get more energy during the day?
These are some serious questions that if I were to be investing in something I would want to know & from a Diet you would not get the answers to.. so don’t bother investing your hard earn cash on something that leaves you with so many unanswered questions.
Instead, any question you have here at Di Nutrition will be answered. This is what happens when you actually have a human behind the electronics, not just some robot app to save costs and they’re not bothered about your questions/ problems.
On my own coaching program we focus on the long term, and educate you to leave you better than you were when you first signed up.. which will lead to an everlasting result and which you’ll then be able to pass down to loved ones. With any luck Obesity, Cancer, Diabetes (Both 1&2) and other such diseases are obsolete!
This is what they don’t want you to know because they want to keep profiting from your woes and make things worse for you, and you end up blaming yourself.
This is another reason for the mental health problems that seem to be ever more prevalent, but in reality is only being magnified because we have social media.
They gain billions whilst you lose your life.. does this sound right to you?
