What Type Of Water Is The Best To Drink?

Drinking water is very important every day and is a must for our health.

All of our cells in our bodies need Water to function correctly, which is why you must continuously hydrate yourself throughout the day.. every day.

The importance of our Water intake is something we think we already know, but as a collective group, severely underestimate.

So, for this reason if you havenโ€™t already done so, I recommend you read this to maximize your chances of sticking with an improved water drinking regime. (Click Here)

ย So now we will go through the different types of water available to drink, and which one is the best for our hydration. ย

Purified Water

Purified Water is water that has been through processing or filtering, which means it gets rid of the dirty contaminants we donโ€™t want, for example Bacteria, Fungi, Parasites and Metals like Copper.

Typically speaking Purified Water is produced via Tap Water.

Youโ€™re able to purify Water in and out of your home. Most Western countries have their water purified to make Water safe for us to consume.

However, the standards of drinking Water around the world varies, and is based on the individual governmentsโ€™ regulations/International standards ย as to if itโ€™s even safe to drink or not.

Apparently, the World Health Organization estimates that over a billion people lack access to safe drinking water. So of course that means more than a billion people are not blessed enough to have Purified water which seems limitless to the people who live in Western Countries.

Now, to the potential concerns with drinking Purified Water belowโ€ฆ

Upkeep: The Water Purification system must be maintained on a regular basis. If not the Water will become contaminated and make us very unwell and unhealthy.

May Not Even Remove Some Contaminants: This a huge concern to many in the West and to the point where they will not even drink from the tap at all! All we know is that although water purification systems remove many contaminants, there are certain pesticides and chemicals that may still linger ย in purified water depending on the type of purification used.

The Cost & The Mindset: Both installing an in-home water purification system and buying purified bottled water can be expensive, especially if you have the mindset that first of all, Water is free and you should never have to pay for it & secondly you donโ€™t see any reason to shell out hundreds of Pounds (Or whatever your currency is) on something you never intend to drink anyway, so whatโ€™s the point?

Waste: Buying Water in a plastic bottle leads to a huge amount of waste, the same can be said about getting rid of the old used up filters in your home purification system. ย

Distilled Water

Distilled Water has gone through a process of distillation to remove any contaminants.

Distillation involves boiling Water and then collecting the steam, which then condenses back to liquid water when it starts cooling down again.

This is a really effective way of removing contaminated crap such as Bacteria, Viruses & Chemicals such as Lead or Sulfate.

Due to the fact that Distilled water is extremely pure, there should be no surprise when I tell you that medical facilities and laboratories use this type of water.

So in effect, Distilled Water is a type of Purified Water. Even though drinking Distilled Water is not as common as Drinking Purified Water, there are many people who choose to only drink this because they know 100 percent that itโ€™s free of contamination.

Now to the potential concerns with drinking Distilled Water belowโ€ฆ

Now although we now know that Distilled Water is the purest type of Water, itโ€™s not actually the healthiest.

Itโ€™s a fact that the distillation process is effective at removing potentially harmful contaminants, but the downside to Distilled Water is that it also removes the natural minerals and electrolytes found in water.

Distillation removes almost all of the minerals found in tap water.

I know it may sound strange because Water is not typically thought or spoken about much as a source of minerals, but itโ€™s important that they remain in the water.

Any factor really, that leads to a decrease intake of essential micronutrients could negatively impact your health over the long term.

Drinking Water thatโ€™s low in calcium and Magnesium has been well known to increase the risk of fractures, Preterm birth & Heart disease.

With all that being said though, Tap Water is not a major source of mineral intake for most people, and the distillation process removes fluoride from the drinking water.

This may put those who decide to only drink Distilled Water at risk of getting Cavities.

So if youโ€™re going to drink Distilled Water make sure you maintain an immaculate set of whites (Dental hygiene must be top notch)

Purified Water VS Regular Water Which Is Best? ย ย

Depending on where you live it varies, in most cases though letโ€™s say in the West, drinking Water from sources like the tap is safe due to the strict contaminant limits set by the Water agencies.

Although, drinking water can become contaminated from natural sources or human error, affecting the quality of our water.

For this reason ย I would seriously consider making an investment on a home water purification system, especially those who are susceptible to becoming ill from contaminated water.

In countries where the water contamination is a severe issue, along with a lack of a proper sanitation, ย picking bottled or Purified Water would be your safest bet.

There are many types of Purification systems you can get including UV filters, which get rid of the crap in the water. That being said, the countries where public drinking of Water is regulated for quality and safety.. drinking Tap Water is fairly safe.

THATโ€™S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know thoughโ€ฆ
