The Top Vegetables To Be Eating Always

I feel like This don’t really need an intro so let’sĀ  GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Ā

Broccoli

Broccoli is a part of the cruciferous fam which is of course is a family made up of vegetables.

This has sulforaphane and glucosinolate which are plant based compounds.

Sulforaphane has been known to have an amour against the effects of cancer.

Eating broccoli will prevent other types of chronic disease also too, so it wise to start eating these more regularly.

The nutrients inside here are vitamin K, vitamin C plus folate, manganese & potassium.

Ā

Spinach

This is like the top of the tops right here as it’s one of the healthiest vegetables on earth.

One cup of this raw spinach provides 54 to 56 percent of your daily vitamin A needs plus all of your daily vitamin K needs.

Spinach is packed with antioxidants which helps reduce the risk of chronic disease.

It’s not just carrots that filled with beta-carotene you know, these are too along with lutein!

This is healthy for your heart and lowers your blood pressure.

Kale

Kale is once again a big hitta!

It’s health qualities are packed with nutrients and antioxidants.

Kale has potassium, calcium & copper along with B vitamins.

By eating kale your entire daily needs of getting vitamin A, C & K are checked off at once!

One of the most healthy greens on earth, this is why it had to make the list.

Ā

Green Peas

Green peas has a high amount of fiber, protein & vitamin A, C, K, riboflavin, niacin, folate & thiamin.

They’re known for their anti-cancer powers & reduce growth in tumors.

They also reduce inflammation.

Asparagus

This is such a spring vegetable my God I had to put this in here, but it does have several vitamins.Ā

Ā

Also it hasĀ  minerals making thisĀ  a great choice for you to start eating.

Asparagus has selenium, vitamin K, riboflavin & thiamin.

When you get enough folate from sources like asparagus can offer protection from disease and prevent defects when it comes to pregnancy.

Red Cabbage

This vegetable once again belongs to the cruciferous family of vegetables ok.

Just like it’s fam it’s packed with antioxidants and health boosting advantages.

Red cabbage has in itĀ  anthocyans, vitamin C & fiber.

Red cabbage supports our heart, liver from being damaged.

Ā

Sweet Potatoes

Ā Now even though they do not count as a partĀ  ofĀ  your five a day (As they tend to be eaten with other starchy foods)

They still very healthy, bright orange in colour of course!

They have fiber, protein, vitamin C, vitamin B6, potassium & manganese.

They, too, have beta-carotene in them & vitamin A.

You know beta-carotene decreases your chances of getting certain types of cancers such as Lung & breast cancer.

THATā€™S IT!

Ā

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know thoughā€¦
