Kale is once again a big hitta!
It’s health qualities are packed with nutrients and antioxidants.
Kale has potassium, calcium & copper along with B vitamins.
By eating kale your entire daily needs of getting vitamin A, C & K are checked off at once!
One of the most healthy greens on earth, this is why it had to make the list.
Green peas has a high amount of fiber, protein & vitamin A, C, K, riboflavin, niacin, folate & thiamin.
They’re known for their anti-cancer powers & reduce growth in tumors.
They also reduce inflammation.
This is such a spring vegetable my God I had to put this in here, but it does have several vitamins.
Also it has minerals making this a great choice for you to start eating.
Asparagus has selenium, vitamin K, riboflavin & thiamin.
When you get enough folate from sources like asparagus can offer protection from disease and prevent defects when it comes to pregnancy.

Now even though they do not count as a part of your five a day (As they tend to be eaten with other starchy foods)

They, too, have beta-carotene in them & vitamin A.
You know beta-carotene decreases your chances of getting certain types of cancers such as Lung & breast cancer.
