Improve Your Mood With 7 Healthy Foods

When you’re feeling down it’s easy to turn to food to make you feel happier again.

However, if you’re indulging in sweets, Ice cream, Chocolates and other high calorie foods that are filled with sugar then this one is for you, as it has negative effects on your health.

So what can we eat instead when we are feeling down or just to better avoid getting into that down and lonely place?

Well today you’ll improve your mood with 7 healthy foods!

Check it out below..

Rich Omega-3 Fish

Rich omega-3 fish now these are fatty acids and are a group of essential fats we must consume in our healthy lifestyle (Click Here)

The reason for that is our body cannot produce them on its own so it’s very important, if you don’t eat fish then you’ll have to take some omega-3  supplements for that.

Here are some rich Omega-3 fish for you to eat are below..

 Salmon

Tuna

Sardines

Mackerel

Herring

It’s also known that when you consume a lot of Omega-3 it helps lower depression.

I have tried all of these out along with my Di1’s and for me I would give Rich Omega-3’s a 9/10 for effect fullness

Fermented Foods

Fermentation is a process that allows the conversion from anything from Carbs to Organic acids using microorganisms.. that’s Yeast or  bacteria to thrive in foods.

When the process is happening probiotics is created, they’re living microorganisms that help support our growth and healthy bacteria in our stomachs.

Fermented foods I recommend for you are below..

Yoghurt

Kefir

Sauekraut

I would give this a 7 or 8 out of 10 for effect fullness.

Whole Grains

Whole grain foods are very important and easy to get in, and should be the one that sets you up in the morning let me explain.

If you’re eating your breakfast like you’re supposed to then this is the perfect window to get your whole grains in (Click Here) .

Whole grains  are an important sources of your B vitamins, which is important for our brain health which impacts our mood of course.

Whole grain foods I recommend for you  are below..

Oats

Brown rice

Quinoa

Wild Rice

Millet

Bulgur

Bran Flakes

I would give this an  9 out of 10 for effect fullness.

Leafy Green Vegetables

Leafy green vegetables have been given to patience’s with server depression so this one had to make the list.

So although many of you will be thinking that it would send you into depression it’s actually the opposite!

At least you know that it will not spike your blood sugar levels sending them crashing down, which is why many of you are reading this for better options/ alternatives in the first place.. also helps with the weight loss 😉

Leafy greens foods I recommend for you are below..

Spinach

Kale

Watercress

Cabbage

Rocket AKA Arugula (For those in the USA)

I would give this a 8 or 9 out of 10 for effect fullness.

Bananas

Bananas are known for turning frowns upside down!

They’re a great if you’re ever feeling stress and are high in vitamin B6.

Bananas are also packed with fiber, that along with the sugar that is already in it.

When the sugar from the Banana is released it comes out slowly into your bloodstream, which allows a much more stable blood sugar level, then say a tub of ice cream.. when your blood sugar levels are low this leads to bad moods.

If you’re interested I got more reasons why you should eat Bananas (Click Here)

I would give this a 9 out of 10 for effect fullness.

Beans & Lentils

Beans & Lentils are high in fiber and are a great way to get your protein in plant-based.

They’re a great source of B vitamins, which helps improve your mood, this also has Magnesium, Selenium & Zinc which all help further raise your mood.

I will not include a list for this because all of them do the job!

I would give this an 8 out of 10 for effect fullness.

Berries

Like I was saying before eating leafy greens gets you out of depression, along with fruits, so Berries are no different .

Now the mechanics of this is not yet clear so unfortunately for Berries I cannot give you an accurate break down, but when you consume this in your healthy life style you’ll be well rich in antioxidants which will help manage inflammation associated with depression and other mood swings we want to curve.

Berries also help battle stress, and lowers your chances of getting stressed out.

I would make sure the ones you get a fresh too over frozen.

I would give this a 7 out of 10 for effect fullness.

THAT’S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you. Please do let me know, though…
