Fall In Love With Kiwis

This is a new thing I’m trying here called “The Fall In Love With”…

Β

Where I pick a healthy food choice and then try to seduce you into eating more of it!Β  πŸ˜… πŸ˜‚ 🀣

So soon as this is the month of Love, I’m caressing you with Kiwis πŸ˜† πŸ˜…Enjoy!!!

What Are Kiwis?

Kiwis are small fruits that are green in flesh, taste real tangy and a lil sour too but sweet. It is packed with vitamin C, E, K, folate & potassium.

The folate normally stands out when you think about Kiwis, they also have a ton of antioxidants and a great choice as part of your breakfast as they are a great source of fiber.

If you’ve ever eaten Kiwis before I don’t know if you throw the black seeds away, but you really don’t have to it’s edible, also the fury brown peel is edible too, but if it’s too weird for you just peel the kiwi.

Β

Aids Digestion

The reason why Kiwis aid digestion is that they have a lot of fiber in them, which is great for digestion.

They also have something calledΒ actinidin which is an enzyme that can helps break down protein.

Β

Β

Boosts The Immune System

1 cup of kiwi can provide you with your DRV (Daily recommended value).

Β

Like I said above Kiwis are full of vitamin C and that is an essential nutrient.

Β

When it comes to giving your immune system the boost it needs to scare of diseases.

Β

Great During Pregnancy

This is something that really helps during a woman’s pregnancy because Kiwifruit contains folate, and this is essential for cell division.

Women when pregnant are told to take additional folate, as it helps protect the fetus from any developmental problems, which could lead to special needs.

Β

Β Beautiful Skin

Kiwi is great for the skin as it has alkaline and in nature it helps counter the effects of acidic foods that consume.

It has vitamins C & E which act as antioxidants, preventing skin degradation, take a few slices and put it on your skin to see results.

Also, Kiwis have omega fatty acids, carotenoids, polyphenols, and promotes heart health too!

THAT’S IT!

I really enjoyed sharing this with you guys. Please do let me know though…
